Terms of Service

Welcome to Eduvance. By using our services, including our mentorship programs, online resources, and community platforms, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before participating in any of our programs.

1. General Terms

1.1 Acceptance of Terms – By enrolling in our programs, accessing our resources, or engaging with our mentors, you agree to abide by these Terms of Service.
1.2 Eligibility – Our mentorship programs are designed for middle school and high school students, and all participants under 18 must have parental/guardian consent.
1.3 Changes to Terms – We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes means you accept the updated terms.

2. Mentorship Program

2.1 Program Structure – Eduvance offers a 5-week structured mentorship program where students receive personalized guidance from Harvard student mentors.
2.2 Choosing a Mentor – Students may select their mentor based on availability, but Eduvance does not guarantee a specific mentor match if schedules do not align.
2.3 Session Attendance – Sessions are conducted virtually and scheduled in advance. Students are responsible for attending their sessions on time.
2.4 Rescheduling & Cancellations

  • 1:1 sessions can be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice to the mentor.
  • Missed group sessions are non-refundable but may be supplemented with additional resources.

3. Payments & Refund Policy

3.1 Pricing & Payment – The total cost for the 5-week mentorship program is $500, with 5 weekly payment of $100 each.
3.2Β Refund Policy – Refunds are available only for unused sessions in 1:1 mentorship programs. Group sessions are non-refundable after the program begins.
3.3Β Payment Security – Payments are processed through secure third-party platforms. Eduvance does not store credit card information.

4. Student & Parent Expectations

4.1 Commitment – Students are expected to engage actively, complete assignments, and participate in discussions.
4.2 Respectful Conduct – All participants must uphold a respectful, inclusive learning environment. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior may result in program dismissal without a refund.
4.3 Parental Involvement – Parents/guardians are encouraged to support their child’s learning journey but may not directly interfere with mentorship sessions.

5. Intellectual Property & Content Usage

5.1 Ownership – All course materials, workbooks, and exclusive resources provided by Eduvance are copyrighted and may not be shared, copied, or resold without permission.
5.2 Student Submissions – By submitting assignments in the Exclusive Challenge Program, students grant Eduvance permission to feature their work for educational purposes within the mentorship community.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1 No Guarantees of College Admission – While our mentorship program provides expert guidance, Eduvance does not guarantee admission into any specific college or university.
6.2 Service Interruptions – We strive for uninterrupted service but are not responsible for session cancellations due to mentor availability, technical issues, or unforeseen circumstances.
